Role Overview
Solveway Apprenticeships is growing, and we’re looking for a confident, personable, and highly organised individual to take the lead in connecting apprentices with the right employers.
This is a pivotal role within our team, responsible for managing the full journey - from attracting and engaging apprentice candidates, to building strong relationships with employers, and ensuring the perfect match between both.
You’ll be working closely alongside a developing team member (our current apprentice, now progressing brilliantly), helping to guide, support, and elevate our recruitment and employer engagement processes.

Responsibilities
Managing the end-to-end apprentice placement process:
- Creating and posting engaging job adverts
- Screening applications and identifying suitable candidates
- Conducting interviews and preparing candidates for employer stages
- Using and maintaining the CRM system to keep track of the recruitment pipeline
Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers:
- Understanding employer needs and culture
- Advising on candidate suitability
- Acting as a key point of contact throughout the process
Matching apprentices with the right opportunities:
- Ensuring both employer and apprentice expectations align
- Supporting successful onboarding and early-stage engagement
Coordinating and improving internal processes:
- Keeping learner and vacancy data accurate and up to date
- Ensuring compliance with apprenticeship and funding requirements
- Supporting reporting and tracking of recruitment activity
Collaborating with and supporting the wider team:
- Representing the business at careers events, employer meetings, and networking opportunities
- Working closely with colleagues across operations and delivery
- Mentoring and working alongside a junior team member
- Contributing to a positive and high-performing team culture
Requirements
- A natural relationship-builder who is confident communicating with both young people and professionals
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Someone personable, approachable, and professional
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in customer-facing, coordination, or people-focused roles
- Experience supporting hiring, onboarding, or placement processes
- Understanding of apprenticeships or education/training environments
