Role Overview
- Post purchase and sales invoices into accounting software (Nomi).
- Scan and save documents efficiently into the CRM system.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post.
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, and direct calls appropriately.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
- Post and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist the Accounts Manager with managing and sorting client data.
- Support the Accounts Manager in preparing VAT returns.
- Report the results of assigned work to the Accounts Manager.
- Organise and sort supplier invoices.
- Centralise client document scanning and saving to CRM.
- Liaise with branches regarding their scanning requirements.
- Handle files and prepare them for storage.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed by management.
Training to be Provided
You will undertake an Accounts or Finance Assistant Apprenticeship, gaining a nationally recognised qualification. This will include dedicated off-the-job training, likely involving one day release for college/study, alongside practical, on-the-job experience and mentorship from experienced professionals at Joy Lane & Co Ltd.
